What they're saying

WWE was in Hawaii for a couple of house shows this weekend and while that would be notable simply for how often the company heads out that way, it was especially noteworthy because of who was on the card. Former Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has been in the news this past week as reports indicated the ankle injury she suffered in her title loss at Money in the Bank was legitimate. She told Becky Lynch on Monday Night Raw just days after that it wasn’t a big deal and she would bounce back quickly. Did she ever. Vaquer wrestled Liv Morgan for the women’s world championship on the show. Unlike the last time she won it, she could not recapture the magic of winning the strap at a house show again. In other positive injury news, Rusev also returned to action. He lost to Joe Hendry in a singles match but it’s the first time he’s wrestled in months. The last rumor we heard, which was over one month ago, was he was waiting to get cleared after an undisclosed illness. We’ll see what, if anything, this means for his return to television. Either way, good news all around!
