Stephanie Vaquer was scheduled to face Becky Lynch for a chance at Liv Morgan's women's world championship on Monday Night Raw. Just hours before the event, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced Vaquer was not medically cleared to compete due to an undisclosed illness, despite prior claims of being cleared from an ankle injury. Lynch received the title shot instead, ultimately losing in the main event. Vaquer has been sidelined previously this summer due to injuries after WrestleMania. Reports indicate she will be out indefinitely, marking another setback in her recently successful main roster run.

- 2:50 AMCageside Seats — Report: Stephanie Vaquer out with an illness
"Stephanie Vaquer was supposed to wrestle Becky Lynch for the right to challenge Liv Morgan for the women’s world championship on Monday Night Raw this week in Fresno. She claimed she was cleared from her ankle injury, and WWE promoted the hell out of the match until a few hours before the show. And then Raw General Manager Adam Pearce opened the evening with an announcement: Vaquer isn’t medically cleared after all. Lynch was given the title shot in the main event and ultimately came up short. So what gives? According to a new report from PW Insider, Vaquer’s absence is related to an undisclosed illness. False Finish followed up on that report to say she will be “out indefinitely.” Vaquer previously missed a chunk of time in the summer while resting up some injuries following WrestleMania in April. It’s an unfortunate turn for Vaquer, whose main roster run had been a smashing success before this latest snakebitten run. Here’s to hoping things get better.
