Stephen Curry sets new goal for Warriors amid offseason challenges

Summary

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors face a challenging offseason, with no new roster additions from free agency or trades. The Warriors appeared to target LeBron James for a possible partnership but missed out when he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. With the current roster deemed flawed and a championship run unlikely, Curry, Draymond Green, and coach Steve Kerr aim to conclude their time together in Golden State on a dignified note. Curry is focused on fostering younger talent while maintaining his legacy as a one-franchise player. The Warriors are unlikely to make trades before the season begins, instead opting to retain draft picks and assess their roster’s potential.
