Stray dog interrupts Lucha Libre match, becomes instant fan favorite

The unanimous opinion seems to be the dog is a star and should be booked for all future events put on by the promotion. The incident occurred during a Legado TV event in Mexico City when the canine decided to get involved in a tag team match. One of the wrestlers playfully teased as if he was trying to shush it away, other luchadores stopped to pet the pup. In one of the funnier moments in the clip, which has been widely shared on social media platforms like X (Twitter) and Instagram, the dog can be seen chasing a wrestler as he runs around the audience. Once the match concluded, the dog then celebrated with the winners. “Dogs are amazing. Love how they played with the dog even during a match like they did,” wrote one person on X of the moment. “Give that dog a mask and a home,” said another X user. “Thank the doggo for the house!! More over than Hogan in the 80s,” a person on X added. Legado TV also acknowledged the pooch, writing on its Instagram account: “What name would you give to this street kid, who today shone in the little fights by joining the technical team?” This isn’t the only time a wholesome moment involving dogs and wrestlers has been captured on-camera and shared online.
