Swansea City interested in Wrexham defender Conor Coady amid injury concerns

Summary

Swansea City has made an enquiry about Wrexham AFC defender Conor Coady, aiming to bolster their defensive lineup ahead of the summer transfer window closure on September 1. Coady has not been part of Wrexham's matchday squads this season after returning from a loan at Charlton Athletic. Swansea's interest follows the injury of Cameron Burgess, further complicating their defensive depth. Coady, who has played across the Championship and Premier League, could provide valuable experience and leadership if a transfer proceeds. Currently, this is only an enquiry, with further developments expected as the deadline approaches.
