Sydney Roosters rest several starters for final round against South Sydney Rabbitohs

The Sydney Roosters have excluded a large portion of their starting lineup for the final round of the regular season against the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Players rested include James Tedesco, Billy Smith, Robert Toia, Mark Nawaqanitawase, Daly Cherry-Evans, Hugo Savala, Naufahu Whyte, Reece Robson, Nat Butcher, and Siua Wong. The side is also missing Sam Walker due to injury. Coach Trent Robinson has retained only two starters from the previous week, Lindsay Collins and Salesi Foketi, while calling on Daniel Tupou to return from injury. This decision arrives as the team seeks to recover form following consecutive losses to the Wests Tigers and the Dolphins.
