Syracuse defeats St. Paul as Binghamton pitchers allow 14 runs

The Syracuse Mets secured a 6-2 victory against St. Paul, bolstered by a strong pitching performance and offensive production. Jack Wenninger allowed two runs over five innings to anchor the win, while Kevin Parada contributed a home run. Eric Wagaman led the Syracuse offense, finishing three for four at the plate. Conversely, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies suffered a 14-6 loss to Portland after their pitching staff struggled on the mound. Parker Carlson gave up six earned runs in one inning, effectively ending any hopes for a Binghamton comeback despite home runs and multi-hit efforts from Jacob Reimer and Mitch Voit. The results move the Syracuse season record to 74-66, while the Binghamton Rumble Ponies fall to 61-74.
