Tahlequah softball extends winning streak behind Lilly Garcia and dominant pitching

BaseballThe Tahlequah softball team currently holds a 12-game winning streak and an 18-2 overall record. During a recent four-game stretch, the Lady Tigers outscored opponents 41-0, securing four consecutive shutouts. Sophomore shortstop Lilly Garcia has been a catalyst for the offense, recording eight hits in 11 at-bats with 10 runs scored and five runs batted in over that period. Pitching contributions have been equally strong, as Alix Kimble threw a four-inning no-hitter against Del City and Zoie Griffin recorded 41 strikeouts across 19 innings in three separate shutouts.
