Ten athletes from Section 4 claim titles at NYS track and field championships

Ten athletes from Section 4 captured titles at the New York State outdoor track and field championships held at Webster Schroeder High School from June 13-14. Corning's Cella McLaughlin won state titles in both the long jump and 100 hurdles, while Candor's Logan Aman triumphed in the Class C and Federation finals of the 100-meter dash. Competing amidst weather interruptions, a few events remained unfinished as of late Sunday afternoon. Other champions from Section 4 included Binghamton's Milo Wilson in high jump and Maine-Endwell's Wyatt Richardson in the 400 hurdles.
