Michael Teasley, a Tennessee baseball signee, was named to the All-Region 2 team by Tennessee Baseball Report on June 16, 2026. The Oak Ridge High School graduate excelled as a two-way player, achieving a.414 batting average and an 11-0 record on the mound with a 1.17 ERA during his senior year. Teasley, who also earned First-Team All-District 4-4A honors and was the district's Pitcher of the Year, had previously been recognized as Class 4A Tennessee Mr. Baseball for two consecutive years. He signed with the Volunteers after committing to the team in October 2024. Teasley led the Wildcats to the TSSAA Class 4A state tournament in successive years.
