Tennessee has extended a scholarship offer to four-star tight end Israel Johnigan from Kansas City for the 2028 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect received his offer after discussions with coach Alec Abeln. Johnigan is currently ranked as the No. 9 tight end in his class and No. 2 player in Missouri, also having offers from several other schools including Iowa State, Nebraska, and Penn State. He becomes the 14th Division I offer recipient in his recruiting journey. Currently, Tennessee holds 19 commitments for its 2027 class, with quarterback Kaden Craft as the only commitment for 2028 thus far.
