Tennessee scores 42 points in Week 3 win over Kennesaw State

Tennessee defeated Kennesaw State 42-9 at Neyland Stadium on September 19. Sophomore running back Daune Morris led the Vols with 116 rushing yards and one touchdown on 14 carries. The Vols executed a successful two-point conversion in the first quarter, marking their first since October 2022. Tennessee finished with 446 total yards, reaching 40 points for the 54th time under head coach Josh Heupel. The defense allowed three field goals, with no touchdowns conceded during the game.
