Tennessee senior tight end Ethan Davis is confirmed to be available for the season opener against Furman on Saturday. Head coach Josh Heupel stated that the veteran player ramped up his activity over the past week and appears ready for the game at Neyland Stadium. Davis, who led Tennessee tight ends with 257 receiving yards last season, enters his fourth year with the program. The Vols have five other tight ends on the roster, including transfers Drake Martinez and Trent Thomas, as well as freshman Luca Wolf. Kickoff for the matchup between No. 18 Tennessee and Furman is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
