Texas A&M linebacker Ray Coney prepares to start in season opener

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko confirmed that transfer linebacker Ray Coney will start at middle linebacker for Saturday’s season opener against Missouri State. Following his tenure at Tulsa, where he recorded over 120 tackles, Coney joined the Aggies and successfully adjusted to the team's defensive scheme during 16 preseason practices.
