Texas A&M updates Kyle Field design for Arizona State game

Texas A&M unveiled a red, white and blue stadium design for the upcoming football game against Arizona State on September 12. Kyle Field will feature red paint in one end zone, blue in the other, and white connecting the two to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and honor the 250th anniversary of the United States. This tradition originated as a fundraiser following the 2001 attacks, when students sold T-shirts to support New York police and fire departments, raising over $180,000. The university revived the commemorative display for the 20th anniversary in 2021 and opted to continue the tradition for this week's matchup. The Aggies host the Sun Devils in an intersectional game between the SEC and Big 12 programs.
