Texas completes fourth-quarter comeback to defeat Ohio State football

Texas overcame a 20-point deficit entering the fourth quarter to defeat Ohio State in a Week 2 college football matchup. The Buckeyes led 23-3 after three quarters of play, but surrendered 21 unanswered points in the final frame. Ohio State players Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith combined for an early offensive surge, with Smith recording 110 receiving yards before halftime. Despite the fast start, the Buckeyes failed to produce more than three points in the second half. Following the loss, coach Ryan Day cited a failure to finish despite having the opponent on the ropes. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian declined post-game interview requests after the comeback win.
