Texas quarterback Arch Manning leads the Longhorns in his senior season

Arch Manning enters his senior season at the University of Texas as the team's starting quarterback. The nephew of former NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, he arrived in Austin as the top-ranked recruit in the 2023 class. After serving as a backup for two seasons, Manning assumed the starting role in 2025 and passed for 3,163 yards and 26 touchdowns. He began the current 2026 campaign on September 5 with a 305-yard, four-touchdown performance against Texas State. Beyond his football career, Manning is a multi-sport athlete who played on a state championship-winning basketball team at Isidore Newman School. He remains the central figure for a Longhorns program that transitioned to the SEC in 2024.
