The New Level joins AEW after departing WWE promotion

Austin Creed and Kofi have officially joined AEW following their departure from WWE. The duo, formerly known as the New Day, entered negotiations with AEW after rejecting a contract offer from their previous employer that included a pay cut exceeding 50 percent. During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Austin Creed cited the strength of the AEW tag team division as a primary motivation for the move. The pair made their debut at All In last weekend, serving as surprise partners for Swerve Strickland in a battle royal for the AEW Trios Championships. The team secured a victory in that match, marking the first time wrestlers have earned championship gold during their debut performance for the promotion.
