The Young Bucks future in doubt as OTM Raw debut receives mixed reviews

Lead Rumor: The Young Bucks status During Wrestling Observer Radio the other night, Dave Meltzer made some comments that led to a lot of speculation on what the future holds for The Young Bucks. In his remarks, Meltzer said he wasn’t sure how much longer any of The Elite would be wrestling, considering their age and how well they’ve done for themselves in the business. Money isn’t really a concern for these guys anymore. Matt Jackson has spoken of finishing up his career before, which could be why Meltzer outright said “I’ve heard it discussed that this might be their last contract.” That made folks wonder if they’ll be done when their current AEW deal expires. That could still be the case, but Meltzer has since taken to social media to say his comments were misinterpreted and he was only saying they’ve talked about stopping but they are on great deals. He also made clear he hasn’t talked to them directly about retiring, or leaving AEW, or being done more generally. So The Young Bucks may be done soon, unless they’re not. Other rumors floating around Despite the lack of crowd reaction live, False Finish claims OTM’s debut on Raw this week was received well internally at WWE. They also say Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki are likely going to be known as “Bakusai” as a team, as expected. Although one rumor said Fatal Influence vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley was being discussed for Sunday Night’s Main Event, TRNBCKL Gold now claims the match being discussed is that same babyface crew taking on Jade Cargill & Michin & B-Fab. Another match apparently being talked about for SNME, per False Finish: Blake Monroe finally wrestling on the main roster against Giulia. For what it’s worth, Chris Jericho told The Wrestling Classic he’ll be at All In on Sunday. You heard anything out there?
