Three Livingston County lacrosse players named first-team all-state

Three boys lacrosse players from Livingston County achieved first-team all-state honors this season, elevating from second-team selections in the previous year. Junior goalie Nate Anderer and senior midfielder Clayton Penzien from Hartland, along with junior attack Joey Skoczylas from Brighton, received recognition from the Michigan High School Lacrosse Coaches Association. Penzien tallied 42 goals and 40 assists this season, while Skoczylas recorded 91 goals, ranking third in school history. Anderer has been a standout goalie, achieving a 63.6% save rate. Brighton had six players recognized for all-state honors, and Hartland also placed additional players on second and third teams.
