Three-star wide receiver Owen Leishman commits to BYU football

Wide receiver Owen Leishman committed to the BYU football program on Friday morning. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect attends Ridgeline High in Millville, Utah, and is currently rated as a three-star recruit. Through four games this season, Leishman has recorded 18 catches for 340 yards and three touchdowns for the 4-0 Riverhawks. He joins a 2027 recruiting class that already includes California prospect Blake Wong and Salem Hills player Peyton Higginson. This commitment marks the second consecutive year a receiver from Ridgeline High has joined the Cougars, following Graham Livingston. BYU now holds 16 total commitments for its 2027 recruiting cycle.
