Thunder trade Lu Dort to Hawks in three-team deal

On July 19, the Oklahoma City Thunder traded Lu Dort to the Atlanta Hawks as part of a three-team deal involving the Dallas Mavericks. In exchange for Dort, Oklahoma City received three second-round picks and shed payroll to operate under the second salary cap apron. The Hawks aim to strengthen their defense with the addition of Dort, who joins Dyson Daniels and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. The Mavericks acquired Zaccharie Risacher from Atlanta, sending Ryan Nembhard in the opposite direction.
