Timberline Spartans will co-op with Orofino for football this fall

FootballThe Timberline Spartans will not field a football team for the upcoming season and will instead join forces with the Orofino Maniacs. Timberline athletic director Cori Pinque cited low player numbers as the reason for the decision. This co-op arrangement has been previously successful in other sports, and Orofino hopes to benefit from the added players, especially after a winless season. Orofino will debut the new co-op roster when they host Marsing Huskies on August 21.
