Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards attracts trade rumors amid team changes

Trade rumors are swirling around Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards following recent comments from ESPN insiders. Edwards, who has not requested a trade, is seen by rival executives as a potential superstar available in the market. Sources indicate he has been frustrated with the team dynamics since the trade of Karl-Anthony Towns in 2024, compounded by the recent trade of Julius Randle to Brooklyn, which may signal organizational instability. Despite his personal success, including an All-Star season, the Timberwolves finished only 49-33, raising questions about the team's direction.
