The Minnesota Timberwolves could trade Josh Green to the Atlanta Hawks for Buddy Hield following their acquisition of Jonathan Kuminga. This offseason, the Timberwolves traded Julius Randle and Naz Reid, and added LaMelo Ball and Green to the roster. Analysts suggest Green's role has become redundant with Kuminga's signing, making Hield an appealing target for enhanced shooting depth. The trade proposal would involve the Timberwolves sending an expiring $14.6M contract in exchange for Hield's $9.6M deal, which could benefit both teams' salary cap management.
