Timberwolves trade Josh Green to Jazz for Cody Williams and John Konchar

The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Josh Green to the Utah Jazz for Cody Williams and John Konchar. The deal includes cash considerations and allows the Timberwolves to gain salary cap flexibility, as Green's $14.7 million contract was a concern due to the second apron threshold. Cody Williams, a former first-round pick in 2024, has potential as a long-term prospect, while Konchar is expected to be waived. This trade is seen as beneficial for both teams, allowing the Timberwolves to maintain roster flexibility and potentially sign Jonathan Kuminga.
