Titans strengthen defense by adding Super Bowl champion ahead of preseason game

Summary

The Tennessee Titans have bolstered their defense ahead of their second preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks by adding defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon and linebacker Milo Eifler. Kpassagnon, a former second-round pick who won Super Bowl LIV with the Kansas City Chiefs, recorded 17.5 sacks over his career. Eifler, undrafted since 2021, seeks to revive his career with the Titans. To accommodate these additions, tight end Matt Lauter was released and cornerback Nazeeh Johnson was placed on reserve due to an ankle injury. With the regular season approaching, the Titans are focused on optimizing their roster under head coach Robert Saleh.
