TKO Group Holdings plans to host more events in the Middle East

TKO Group Holdings president and COO Mark Shapiro said on Tuesday that the company intends to host additional events in the Middle East this year. Speaking at a Goldman Sachs conference, Shapiro stated that demand for live entertainment in the region is currently outstripping supply. While Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is set to host WrestleMania 43 next year, the company maintains active partnerships with the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Sports and the General Entertainment Authority. Upcoming scheduled events in the region include the WWE Crown Jewel in November, alongside two UFC events slated for Abu Dhabi in October and Qatar in November. Despite regional tensions, officials indicated that the area remains a viable market for hosting large-scale sports entertainment productions through 2027.
