Rinaldi narrated the show's cold open on Monday, poking fun at the ritualistic and often over-the-top nature of preseason sports analysis. The segment featured humorous recreations of the show’s recurring visual bits, including Nick Wright in a hospital bed and Chris Broussard in a Baltimore Ravens robe. During the episode, the show’s hosts joked that Rinaldi’s participation might improve their chances of winning a Sports Emmy, as the show was previously nominated but lost to ESPN’s NFL Live in May.
