Topps releases first flagship football card product in over a decade

Topps has released the 2026 Topps Flagship Football card product this week, marking the first flagship release since 2015. The new set features a base of 400 cards, including 100 grouped rookie cards. Notable rookies in the set include top overall pick Fernando Mendoza, along with Jeremiyah Love, Ty Simpson, Garrett Nussmeier, and Makai Lemon. Several box types, including Hobby and Jumbo boxes, offer collectors guaranteed hits and various autographs. This launch is significant as it follows a decade-long exclusive licensing agreement held by Panini America, which ended in April.
