Tri-Village 8U baseball team claims 2026 Cal Ripken World Series title

The Tri-Village 8U All-Star team won the 2026 Cal Ripken World Series in Marlton, New Jersey, after a 3-2 victory against Warrington, Pennsylvania. The championship game, held on August 22, concluded a tournament run where the Glenmont-based squad posted a 5-0-1 record. Throughout the summer, the team achieved a 19-4-1 overall record. Connor Stehr earned the tournament's Most Outstanding Player honors after throwing a complete game in the final. Following the tournament, coach Curtis Barkman stated that the organization has already moved toward fall tryouts and future development, intending to keep the roster together for upcoming seasons.
