Tristian Hayes prepares for final professional wrestling match in Salisbury

Professional wrestler Tristian Hayes is set to compete in his final match after a 29-year career. The 45-year-old athlete will perform at the Ring Wrestling Stars: Salisbury Slamdown held at Salisbury City Hall on 13 September. Hayes began his career at age 16 after training at the New Star school in Bristol under coach Pete Collins. Throughout his tenure, he achieved the Ring Wrestling Stars Heavyweight Championship title four times. Hayes intends for this final appearance to serve as a tribute to his late father and an inspiration for younger athletes looking to enter the industry. He noted that while the sport requires significant physical conditioning and showmanship, modern training opportunities have made the professional path more accessible to aspiring wrestlers than when he started in the 1990s.
