Trump supports Infantino after cancellation of Balogun's red card

President Trump praised FIFA president Gianni Infantino for canceling the red card issued to USA striker Folarin Balogun earlier this month. Trump characterized the decision as a 'great decision' during a New York City event celebrating the World Cup. His call to Infantino followed the controversial red card incident, which Trump described as a notable moment. Although the decision to reverse the card did not impact the game significantly, as the U.S. lost 4-1 to Belgium, Trump expressed that it eliminated any controversy regarding the match's outcome. Infantino and Trump exchanged compliments during the press conference, with the president also commenting on England's game against Argentina.
