UCLA defensive back Ta'Shawn James earned Big Ten Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors following the team's 45-24 victory over Cal. In his first appearance for the Bruins, James recorded two interceptions and eight combined tackles, including three solo stops. His late-game interception secured the result against Cal quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele. James shares the weekly conference award with Penn State's Caleb Bacon.
