Undrafted rookie Aaron Hall earns roster spot with Carolina Panthers

Aaron Hall secured a place on the Carolina Panthers' 53-man roster following the NFL deadline on Sunday. The defensive lineman, who joined the team as an undrafted free agent after a five-season career at Duke, impressed coaches during training camp and the preseason. Hall’s inclusion follows roster vacancies created by the injury of Tershawn Wharton and the retirement of LaBryan Ray. During his college tenure, the 6-foot-4, 297-pound lineman recorded 121 combined tackles and 8.0 sacks. He is now set to join the team's veteran defensive unit as the regular season approaches. Hall will work under the coaching staff to contribute in a rotation role as a rookie.
