The United Football League (UFL) has confirmed the addition of a Colorado Springs franchise for the 2027 season. This new team will play at Weidner Field, which is also home to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC soccer club. The UFL's expansion plans include two more teams in Utah and Oklahoma for the 2028 season. The franchise's name, colors, and logo will be unveiled at a public event on October 25. Their first home game is scheduled for April 11 at 1 p.m. Mountain time and will be broadcast on ABC.
