United States and Europe prepare for 20th Solheim Cup in Netherlands

The 20th edition of the Solheim Cup is scheduled for September 11-13 at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands. The United States enters as the defending champion after a 15 1/2 to 12 1/2 victory over Europe in 2024 at Robert Trent Jones GC in Virginia. Since the tournament began in 1990, the United States holds an overall record of 11-7-1 across the first 19 contests. While the Americans lead the historical series, Europe has successfully won or retained the cup in each of the last three events. Players and captains are preparing to compete in the biennial match-play tournament following the 2024 result.
