USA Basketball men's team coaching staff expected to finalize soon

Erik Spoelstra's staff for the USA Basketball men's national team is taking shape ahead of the team's qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup. Mark Daigneault, JB Bickerstaff, and Mark Few are expected to join as assistant coaches. An official announcement is anticipated on July 16. Spoelstra replaced Steve Kerr as head coach, having previously served as an assistant and won gold at the 2024 Olympics. Daigneault and Bickerstaff are making their debuts with Team USA, while Few has been a consistent part of the coaching staff over the years. The men's national team is set to compete in August.
