Vikings Wire released a three-round 2027 NFL mock draft ahead of the upcoming Week 1 season opener. The projections suggest the Minnesota Vikings may target defensive reinforcements and receiver depth early in the draft process. Proposed selections include Mississippi State cornerback Kelley Jones, Clemson edge rusher Will Heldt, Texas receiver Ryan Wingo, and Alabama safety Bray Hubbard. Analysts suggest a potential trade-down strategy involving the 15th overall pick to acquire additional capital. These evaluations reflect internal roster considerations, including expiring contracts for current players such as Andrew Van Ginkel and Jauan Jennings. The 2027 NFL draft is scheduled to be held in Washington, D.C.
