Voting is now open for the South Bend Tribune's Non-Football Athlete of the Week for Sept. 7-12, 2026. The poll features 13 nominees from 10 local schools, including standout performances in soccer and cross country. Notable candidates include Ian De La Paz Olea of Concord boys soccer, who scored the decisive goal in a victory over Class 3A No. 1 Goshen, and Yurem Hernandez from Goshen boys soccer, contributing in multiple wins.
