Voting is now open for the Halifax Health Volusia-Flagler Boys Athlete of the Week for Oct. 12-17. Previous honors went to DeLand swimmer Paul Dobyns, who received 88% of the votes two weeks ago. Other candidates include cross-country runners Mack Jones and Juan Watson, as well as golfers Ayden Epstein, Carson Perry, and Zachary Peterson. The online poll will close at 10 a.m. Sunday, and votes submitted via email will not be counted.
