Voting is now open for the Gadsden Times Girls Athlete of the Week for the week of September 11. The poll features nominees based on their athletic performances from the previous week. Last week, Hokes Bluff's Mazely Ball received 74% of the votes. Nominees include Ashville's Evelyn Dole with 114 assists in seven matches, Boaz's Peyton Hall with 219 passing yards and five touchdowns, and Gadsden City's Alexis Wilson with three passing TDs. Voting will continue until noon on Thursday.
