Warriors sign Georges Niang to bolster shooting for Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors have signed forward Georges Niang to a one-year, $3.9 million contract. Niang, a career 39.9 percent 3-point shooter, missed the previous season due to a foot injury. He was briefly with the Boston Celtics last summer after being part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade but did not appear in a game for them. This signing aims to enhance the Warriors' shooting options alongside Stephen Curry, giving head coach Steve Kerr a reliable frontcourt option. In addition to Niang, the Warriors also agreed to terms with Brandon Williams, completing their roster.
