Washington commit Jeremy Adeyanju scores twice in Sandra Day O'Connor loss

Four-star running back and Washington commit Jeremy Adeyanju recorded two touchdowns in a 31-28 loss for Sandra Day O'Connor High School against Mesa High School on Thursday night. Adeyanju rushed 18 times for 86 yards during the contest, marking his second consecutive game with multiple scores to start his senior season. The Phoenix, Arizona native helped the Eagles build a 14-0 lead before halftime, though the team eventually fell on a game-ending field goal. This performance follows a 176-yard outing in the season opener against Desert Mesa High School. With Washington running back Trey Cooley entering his final year of eligibility, Adeyanju remains a candidate to compete for playing time upon his arrival with the Huskies in January.
