West Ham United targeting Troy Parrott in £20m deal

Summary

West Ham United are pursuing a £20 million transfer for AZ Alkmaar striker Troy Parrott, aiming to address their offensive challenges. Following a disappointing pre-season, Parrott has become a top target after a standout season in the Eredivisie, where he scored 16 goals and provided five assists. West Ham is willing to match AZ's valuation despite interest from other clubs. Simultaneously, they are exploring options for additional forwards, including Sunderland's Wilson Isidor. The club views Parrott as a critical acquisition to secure a quick return to the Premier League.
