West M boys soccer team remains unbeaten in the fall season

The West M boys soccer team is off to a strong start, currently unbeaten with a record of 7-0-1 as of mid-September 2026. The squad, which retained most of its players from last year's roster, has allowed only five goals so far this season. Led by prominent defenders Dylan Benitez and Brooks McCune, along with healthy goalie Bryce Stant, the Tornadoes are ranked No. 1 in the East District by MaxPreps. Their next test will come as they aim for a deep postseason run following last year's disappointing district final loss to St. Clairsville. The team has been effective defensively, establishing a solid foundation as the competition continues to heat up.
