Will Ospreay claims AEW world title at All In in London

The main event of today’s (Aug. 30) All In London saw Kenny Omega defend the AEW world championship against Will Ospreay. During the course of the bout, Omega continued his recent heel turn by blasting Ospreay in the head with a monitor outside the ring. Ospreay was bleeding buckets, leaving the AEW commentators concerned about his career and livelihood. An overzealous @WillOspreay shoved the referee, but that opened the door for @KennyOmegamanX to crack Ospreay over the head with a monitor! The referee considered stopping the match, but Kenny said he wasn’t done destroying his opponent. He demonstrated exactly what he meant by executing a Dragon Suplex on the ring apron. Ospreay landed a Styles Clash, but Omega wouldn’t stay down for the three count. Omega got back in the fight when he countered the Os-cutter with a knee to the back of Will’s neck. The champ then went for a career-killing shot when he put Ospreay down with devastating Tiger Driver ‘91. It should have been over after Omega hit his One-Winged Angel finisher, but Ospreay miraculously kicked out of the pin attempt. The Best Bout Machine went for another One-Winged Angel, but this time it was Bruv who countered with an even sicker looking bump on a Tiger Driver ‘91 right on Kenny’s neck. Omega had trouble using his left arm, presumably due to compressed vertebrae and nerve damage, as a result. TIGER DRIVER 91 FROM @WILLOSPREAY!
