WWE Interim Women's Champion Chelsea Green says she aims to move away from conventional, scripted professional wrestling promo styles. During an interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Green stated that standard wrestling cadences feel inauthentic and often cringeworthy. She noted that she focuses on acting techniques, such as emotional recall and developing backstories, to make her segments feel more grounded. This philosophy shaped her recent interaction with Nick Aldis on the August 16 episode of SmackDown. Despite currently working through a broken orbital bone, Green is scheduled to return to the ring this Friday on SmackDown. She will defend her WWE Women's Championship against Nia Jax. Jax previously challenged Green alongside Lash Legend following Green's title win at SummerSlam.
