WWE releases multiple NXT and EVOLVE talent from developmental contracts

Summary

WWE has released several performers from its NXT and EVOLVE brands as part of an ongoing reduction in personnel at the Performance Center in Orlando. Confirmed departures include former WWE Speed Champion Jasper Troy, EVOLVE talent PJ Vasa, Ellen Akesson, and Wendy Choo. While the company has not issued an official statement, affected wrestlers have shared news of their departures on social media. Unlike main roster talent, these individuals are subject to a 30-day non-compete clause. These cuts follow a broader series of roster changes that occurred earlier this year, affecting both main roster stars and developmental athletes.
