WWE releases Wendy Choo and other developmental performers

WWE released several performers from its developmental systems on September 4, including Anya Rune, Adriana Rizzo, and Jasper Troy. Among the departures, the release of Wendy Choo generated internal surprise given her seven-year tenure with the organization. Choo previously participated in the 2018 Mae Young Classic and held the WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship until recently dropping the title to Nikkita Lyons.
